Inspired by Victorian-era trombone link watch chains - distinctive sliding, interconnected links that resembled a musical trombone's mechanism - this design was a popular variation of the classic Albert chain used to secure pocket watches by gentlemen of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This trombone link chain reflects Cushla's vision with alternating elongated oval links and knife-edge oval links, adding an architectural contemporary twist.
Incredibly versatile, this piece features a traditional swivel fob clasp at one end and an oval hinge clasp at the other means you can attach various pendants/charms, in addition to clipping the chain at different lengths also allowing the wearer to wear it as a lariat style. It can be worn beautifully on its own or customised with your favourite pieces.
