We'll guide you through our exclusive collection and showcase our ethically sourced gemstones. After selecting your preferred design elements, we'll provide detailed quotes. Your unique piece will then be crafted by skilled artisans in our Melbourne workshop, undergoing rigorous quality checks to ensure it meets our exacting standards.
Yes, we prioritize ethical sourcing. All diamonds imported to Australia must be Kimberley Process certified. At CUSHLA WHITING, we go further by sourcing our modern cut diamonds directly from reputable global sightholders. For colored gemstones, our founder Hamish Whiting has cultivated strong relationships with trusted suppliers worldwide. We believe in supporting local economies through responsible sourcing, particularly in developing regions where artisanal mining provides crucial supplementary income.
We dedicate a full hour for each appointment with our Melbourne-based design and gemology experts, ensuring ample time to explore all options and make an informed decision.
Many couples visit our Melbourne showroom together to choose the perfect ring, with the proposal timing remaining a surprise. For those selecting alone, we recommend working from hints your partner has given or consulting their friends for insights. Our experienced team can also offer guidance based on your partner's style and preferences.
Absolutely. Our founder and GIA Gemologist, Hamish Whiting, personally selects all our diamonds and colored gemstones. With two decades of experience, Hamish has developed a keen eye for identifying exceptional stones that offer both beauty and value.
We offer a complimentary resize within two sizes up or down. However, it's best to get as close to the correct size as possible, as significant resizing may not be feasible for all designs. Our Melbourne team can provide tips on estimating your partner's ring size accurately.
We don't currently offer payment plans. For ready-to-ship items, full payment is required at purchase. For bespoke pieces, we ask for a 50% deposit to begin production, with the remaining balance due upon completion.
While we currently only have stores in Melbourne & Sydney, we often have clients from all over Australia. These areas include but are not limited to Brisbane,Perth,Adelaide,Gold Coast,Hobart,Newcastle & Geelong.
